WILLIAM KAMKAWA

William Kamkawa lived with his parents in Masitala. He had to leave the school because his parents didn't have enough money. Then he gained fame in his country when in 2002, he built a windmill to power a few electrical appliances in his family’s house in Mastila using a gum trees, bicycle parts, and materials that he collected. William worked hard during two weeks. At the end he finished the mill that was a success and he was able to change his village thanks to his knowledge.
